Frequently asked questions
Is the Free edition really free?
Yes. The Free edition is free forever for personal, non-commercial use and requires no license. All security features (end-to-end encryption, authentication, brute-force protection) are full in Free too.
How does the Pro license work?
When you purchase, you receive a license bound to your hardware (HWID) and signed with Ed25519. The client verifies the signature offline; Pro features unlock without a restart. There is a 14-day offline grace period.
On how many devices can I use the same license?
The license is seat-based. A license is limited to the number of devices allowed at once; you can activate/deactivate devices from your management panel.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
The client gracefully reverts to the Free feature set without data loss. Your contact list and settings are preserved; only Pro features are restricted.
Is payment secure?
All payments are processed via Paddle. As the Merchant of Record, Paddle handles invoicing and taxes; your card details never reach our servers.
Can I get a refund?
