Privacy Policy

What data we process, why we process it, and your rights.

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Armologic Ltd. ("we") processes your personal data in connection with the ArmoConnect app, services and the armoconnect.com website. The data controller is Armologic Ltd. under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and, where applicable, KVKK.

1. Privacy by design: end-to-end encryption

ArmoConnect is peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted. We cannot see, store or process your session content (screen capture, keyboard/mouse input, transferred files, chat, audio). Even if our rendezvous/relay server forwards traffic, it only relays encrypted, opaque bytes; it cannot decrypt content, keys or session passwords.

2. Data we process

Website and download: the email address you provide when requesting a download and the platform you select; optional newsletter consent; web server logs (IP, browser, request time).

Rendezvous/relay: device identifier and online status to establish connections (in memory, transient); minimal connection metadata to prevent abuse. Session content is not recorded.

License and payment: an HWID derivative and license status to bind the license to a device. Payments are processed by Paddle; we do not receive your card details.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Providing the Service (performance of contract): establishing connections, validating licenses, providing downloads.
  • Security (legitimate interest): rate limiting, brute-force protection, audit logs.
  • Communication (consent): newsletter only if you opted in.
  • Legal obligations: tax and accounting records.

4. Cookies

Our website uses the minimum cookies required to function (including the language preference). We do not use third-party advertising/tracking cookies. When Paddle is loaded for payment on the pricing page, Paddle may set its own necessary cookies.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, as necessary: Paddle (payment/invoicing), our hosting provider (infrastructure), and competent authorities where legally required.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside the UK or EU. In that case we ensure transfers are made with appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected: presence data is transient; server logs are kept briefly; license data for the duration of the subscription; accounting records for the statutory period.

8. Your rights

Under applicable laws you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in every email. To exercise your rights, write to privacy@armoconnect.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (the ICO in the UK).

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We always publish the current version on this page with the date of change.
